Frequently asked questions
Am I locked into a contract?
All of our plans are month to month with no minimum commitment. We generally require notice of cancellation though, of at least 1 week prior to your renewal date.
Do I need a new modem?
There should be no need for a new modem if you are already connected to the nbn. We do have a range available though if you’re having issues with your existing modem or feel like upgrading.
Which plan is best for me?
A hard question to answer! This all depends on what you’re using the internet for. Our plans have no contracts, you’re free to upgrade and downgrade as you need – so we’d recommend starting on the nbn25 if you’re not sure, and we can upgrade as needed.
How long does it take to connect?
We manually review all orders for submission to our wholesaler. Once the order has been submitted, activations can be completed in as little as 1 hour.
Can I use residential NBN services for my business?
Yes you can, we do not impose any restrictions on how your service is used. We do have specific business solutions available though, and would love to chat with you to ensure you’re getting the best service for your business. Our main product for businesses is The Business Plan, which includes backup internet connectivity in the event of nbn outages. Check that out here. If your business doesn’t quite require that level of service, the residential NBN plans will be just fine.
I need a VoIP phone service
We offer a PAYG VoIP service for $6 per month with outbound call rates starting at just 4c per minute, or a value plan for $22 per month with all local, national & mobile calls included.
